13 is a great place for food or drink. They have one of the most eclectic jukeboxes I have ever seen. It's also one of the only places that are vegetarian friendly in New Orleans. As a local, I think it's a great addition to Frenchmen Street.
Pros: inexpensive, quaint, relaxed

13 is a quaint hidaway from the norm of everyday french quarter bars. Many locals frequent there so you know it has to be good. The Irish coffee is awsome and the food very unique, you gotta try a breakfast burrito they are excellent, as well as many other items on their menu and the desserts... to die for!
Pros: not many tourists, inexpensive
