I've eaten sushi around the country and this little place has the best. The menu is innovative and the staff is happy to accommodate any preferences you have. The sushi and roll menu has at least 50 items. There are daily specials. The salads are wonderful. Nothing is prepared until it's ordered. The restaurant is in an historic New Orleans house and sits right on Esplanade. The restaurant and it's employees are most welcoming.
Pros: Wonderful food in a fabulous, neighborhood atmosphere.

The food was overpriced and the staff was rude and slow. I was expecting Asian cuisine with a Hawaiian flare but you could find the same fare at any Japanese restaurant in new Orleans. Ninja or Hana's have far better Japanese food, better service and more reasonable prices.
Pros: good location
Cons: bad food, bad service, little variety, poor ambiance
