I RECENTLY VISTED THIER NEW AND IMPROVED LOCATION. AND I MUST SAY IT WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. ONE OF THE COUPLES MASSAGE ROOMS IS BREATHTAKING, IT HAS A HYDROTHERAPHY HOT TUB. I WILL DEFINATLY VISIT AGAIN FOR THAT SERVICE.... CUSTOMER SERIVCE IS TOP NOCTH! ME AND MY DAUGHTER HAD THE PLEASURE OF VISITING THERE AWESOME HAIRSTLYIST'S "JENN & JESSICA" THEY WERE GREAT CORRECTING MY DAUGHTER ATTEMPT AT SELF COLORING. I'VE ALREADY BOOK OUR NEXT APPOINTMENT. EVERYONE SOULD GO SEE SPA MANHATTAN'S NEW LOCATION IN FOUNTAIN PARK ON THE WESTBANK! IM GLAD THEY MOVED FROM THERE OLD LOCATION. SUCH A STEP UP!!!!

Hi, I don't usually respond to these blogs, but I happened to read the negative responses posted and could not stand idly by and allow this nonsense to continue. I have been a loyal customer of Spa Manhattan for many years and have referred several friends and family members. I have had nothing but superior quality services. I have had everything from hair, nails, body wraps, facials, massages and waxing. I have complete confidence in the staff here and am complimented immensely on my appearance whenever i receive a service from Spa Manhattan. I have seen "picky" customers at this spa. I have also seen the staff and owner bend over backwards to try and please these customers to no avail. Whoever posted the earlier comments is obviously one of these customers and is just the type that cannot be satisfied no matter what is offered to appease them. Trust me, this is no fault of Spa Manhattan. Obviously, the services, in particular the eyebrow waxes that is being critisized, could not have been as dramatically unprofessional as this customer is complaining of. Otherwise, why on earth would you go back 4 more times to the same spa? Sounds like this is more of a personal grudge instead of a legitimate business dispute. I've experienced first hand the professionalism of all the employees and owner of Spa Manhattan and know that there is no need that is gone unfulfilled or any complaint that is not completely satisfied. Again, every service Spa Manhattan offers is delivered with kindness and professionalism Its what sets them apart from other spas in this area. I will definitely continue to refer people to them and will follow them to their much anticipated move to Fountain Park.

I've been going to Spa Manhattan for services for about a month now and I am very pleased. The customer service is exceptional! The staff is really tentative to their clients. They understand that people come here to relax, so they do everything possible to make sure that happens. The services are amazing as well! Massages, facials, manicures/pedicures, etc.-I LOVE IT! I don't think i could have been pampered any more than I was!! I would recommend this spa to anyone and everyone I know. If you have not experienced a service at Spa Manhattan...you're missing out! Can't wait for their new location at Fountain Park, I hear it's going to be beautiful!

I've been going to Spa Manhattan for over a year for massages and eyebrow waxing. I have always been happy with the service. I had one bad experience where the massage therapist made me wait in the waiting area while she talked with another worker. (I could hear her around the corner from where they had me wait) She then cut my package 15 minutes short. I had arrived 10 minutes early. I will never use her again. I tried one of the packages and was very disappointed (besides being cut short). The peppermint hand mask was just lotion on my hands then wrapped in plastic. Also, it advertised an eye treatment which I never got. I've been to many spas around the country and this one does not offer too much in the way of pampering. Usually you get a robe, or they have a sauna, even the waiting areas are more relaxing. I will never get another package there but will continue to get my eyebrows and massage there. There is a male therapist there (can't think of his name) who is very good and very pleasant.

I am normally a client at H2O and I decided to try someplace new. I came here last week, and had a wonderful experience. The staff is so polite and friendly. I had a wonderful swedish massage, the best I have found in this area. Will definitely be back again!

i want to start off by saying that i enjoy going to Spa Manhattan. yes i do agree that there are things that can improve within the salon but everwhere you go there will be flaws. you can go to any salon or spa and would have to wait. no where is that perfect. as a LOYAL client , i have been treated well, offered beverages and beyond more while i am in the waiting room,not only while i am waiting i am greeted by everyone who is passing by and also the providers(even though at times they are so busy working), i am so satisfy leaving out of and i had many services there from every provider so far and they have went beyond their expections..THIS NOTE REGARDS lucylondon719 IF THE SERVICE WAS SO BAD THE FIRST TIME WHY THE HELL YOU KEPT ON GOING BACK!! IF YOU WERE SO UNHAPPY THEN WHY DIDNT YOU CONFRONT THE MANAGER !!! ITS ABSURD THAT YOU WOULD EVEN BOTHER TO GO BACK IF THEY DID SUCH A BAD JOB !! i've been going to them for 4 years now and never been miss treated.

im sorry i have been to spa manhatten multiple times to get my eyebrows done by 4 different ladies and all of them arched them incorrectly and wazed them too far back. it has taken me a while to grow it back each time just for them to screw them up again. so now i go to another place where all of the ladies do them perfectly each time. also why do i have to wait so long to even get them done? its not worth 12$ for ambience and comfortable seating if the job is poor and it takes a long time

Pros: nice building beautiful rooms, ambience, etc

Cons: poor staff, some with attitudes

Very unprofessional! I had a facial and I had to wait for an hour and a half. I wasn't even given a discount for the inconvience. That's why I stop going there months ago.

Cons: bathrooms are sometimes dirty, if your more than 15 minutes late your appt. might get cancelled.

This place is so relaxing and the staff is great too, the use the best of the best in products and always have great specials and up to date services, they are very helpful and have a great website too...love it!

Pros: Every service is awesome, they even have 2 late nights..

Cons: none
