At first, I thought my experience at Yvonne LaFleur's was beyond wonderful. I found the dress of my dreams for a reasonable price and her staff treated us like royalty. Yvonne LaFleur told my party and I that she designed my dress herself. I was so excited that I had purchased an Yvonne LaFleur designed wedding gown for my wedding. Well, one week later, while searching for bridesmaids dresses online, I accidentally came across a picture of my wedding gown made by another designer. The price was nearly $350 cheaper. I called the designer to find out what was going on. I discovered that Yvonne LaFleur purchases a large number of gowns from this wholesaler. She had removed their label and replaced it with an Yvonne LaFleur label. When I called Yvonne to question her she tried to change the subject by asking me if I am related to an old friend of hers. She proceeded to tell me the story of how they were friends in the 1960s. When I ignored her efforts to divert from the situation, she said she would have to call me back...which she did not do. I drove to the boutique to speak to her in person. She did NOT deny what she did. She simply kept replying "this entire store is an Yvonne LaFleur collection." She clearly showed how guilty and wrong she was. She refused to give me a refund for the dress. She said when the dress comes in we can discuss the situation again. The dress is not scheduled to come in until three months before my wedding, which will not be enough time for me to find another wedding gown. She misrepresented herself and lied to me. Horrible horrible business ethics. I WARN EVERYONE! DO NOT BUY FROM YVONNE LAFLEUR. GO INTO HER BOUTIQUE AND FIND A GOWN, THEN GO LOOK FOR IT ONLINE. YOU WILL FIND IT FOR A MUCH BETTER PRICE AND BY THE ORIGINAL DESIGNER, NOT SOMEONE WHO CLAIMS THEY DESIGNED IT.

Pros: Her staff is amazing.

Cons: SHE IS A FRAUD!!

Beautiful store and wonderful service. My wedding was in Garden City New York and I heard about Yvonne's store and her ONE OF A KIND wedding dresses. I did not want a reproduction of someone elses dress. She took care of me herself and the dres was fitted the same day by a professional seamstress. I had it in 4 weeks. I also bought my brides maid dresses from there. Different anges and sizes and she was able to accomadate all of them beautifully. If you are picky and want very high end service Yvonne is the person to see. Thank you for making my wedding day so special.

The dresses in Yvonne Lafleur are just beautiful, and I love the way they hang from the ceiling. I thought the dresses would be way out of my price range, but they were actually much more reasonable than other dress shops in the city. The staff was very professional and upbeat. After I found my perfect dress, they even helped me celebrate with a glass of champagne. It was a great experience. They made the experience for my mother and I wonderful.

I was not expecting to find the Wedding Dress of my dreams but that is exactly what I found at Yvonne Le Fleur. When I walked into the store with my mother, Mary Jane greeted us and said to look around the store, she would be right with us after assisting another bride to be. My mother and I began to look around and we found several dresses that were very nice. I was expecting to tell the attendant what dress I wanted to try on, go into a dressing room and try on dresses as usual. Mary Jane took it a step further. She actually suggested dresses to try on. The very first dress I tried on was simply gorgeous and soooo me. Beautiful dress, alencon lace with small beading over champagne satin. The dress was beautiful and fit me almost perfectly. Mary Jane took is another step further, she looked at my figure and added wonderful touches that accentuated my figure. I truly felt like a bride for the first time, romantic and timeless. Unfortuneatly, I could not afford the dress, but I knew the dress I wanted and was on a mission to find one I could afford. I will never forget the assistance I received and I highly recommend the shop, if you are looking for something special.

The customer service was awful. We made an appointment to try on wedding dresses and when we showed up we were basically ignored. We went to the back room where Yvonne was helping another customer and she never even looked up at us to acknowledge that we walked into the room. We waited for 30 minutes for anyone to wait on us but they were just too busy for us! They are complete snobs and obviously don't need anymore business. Besides them being rude...the entire store needs a makeover. It smells awful in there. The store has hot pink, matted carpet that hasn't been changed since like 1980 & there are so many clothes in there that it looks like a good will store.

beautiful, well made gowns. not as expensive as anticipated. staff very nice and very helpful. definetly recommend.

I bought my wedding gown from her store. Although pricey, very well worth it. All my friends shop there when in need of a unique gown for formal event. Also her undergarments are one of a kind, and very well worth it!

Pros: Beautiful clothes
